These products come in hundreds of different variations - I post the designs that I like but if you click on the image and follow the link through to Zazzle, you can change product styles and colours, switch between men’s women’s and kid’s and you can even change the background colour of the design. I've posted some instructions on how to do this in the "how to buy from Zazzle" button (above) but I'm also happy to customise my products for you - drop me an e-mail at teebarblogspot@hotmail.com

It's Not About You Tee

Australia 2014 - Our PM (Prime Moron) Tony Abbott says he is confronted by the Burka and bans them in parliament then does a backflip when he realises that he looks like a dick with many commentators saying that they find the sight of a a middle aged man wearing red budgie smugglers confronting but nobody is calling to ban them. (I have added an image of a pair of 'budgie smugglers' at the bottom of this post for anyone who doesn't know what they are)

Regardless, the debate rages in Australia despite the fact that very few people actually wear a Burka. The Burka is the garment which covers the whole face including the eyes and is mostly worn by Afghan women. More common is the Niqab which is similar but of course 'Ban the Niqab' doesn't roll from bogan tongues so easily.

The arguments on social media are facile with comments such as "when we go to their country, we have to cover up" and "the Burka is a symbol of male oppression."

The first comment is interesting: leaving aside the fact that we are talking about Australian Muslims and 'their country' is Australia, I doubt that anyone who made this comment have visited a Muslim country other than Indonesia (Australians love Bali but not many realise it's in Indonesia) and from my experience, very few westerners 'cover up' on Bali - in fact they seem to wear less than they would back home. The second comment is trotted out to show how oppressed Muslim women are. Such sentiments are awfully nice, and it's lovely to think that bigots have such concern for the rights of Muslim women but not their right to wear whatever they want.

What this all amounts to is self described 'freedom loving Australians' trying to make the country more free by banning things.Twisted logic indeed.

My view? The decision to wear a head covering - Burka, Niqab, Hijab or nun's Habit has absolutely nothing to do with me because I don't wear one. That decision is made between the individual and their God and should not be made by governments or influenced by bigots.

There are two designs here, one for Hijabi which says 'Confronted by my hijab - well it's not about you' and the other is designed for people who don't wear the Hijab but would like to show there support 'Confronted by the hijab - well it's not about you'
