In article 31 of Unicef’s Convention on the Rights of the Child, it states that children have the right to relax and play, and to join in a wide range of cultural, artistic and other recreational activities.
Unfortunately for us older kids, article 1 defines a child as a person below the age of 18, unless the laws of a particular country set the legal age for adulthood younger.
Regardless, the very fact that a child's right to play is enshrined in Article 31 is worth celebrating.
